Q: Would a lip lift create an aesthetic appearance on these lips?
I seek a surgeon who is experienced with lip lifts, with photos and reviews. Europe preferred due to travel costs, but I’m open to other locations. I want a more aesthetic lip shape with better upper-lower lip ratio, and to correct asymmetry. I already have a strong cupid bow and want to avoid over-exaggerating it while lifting the lip and especially the off-centre enough to achieve a natural and timelessly pleasing look. What lift type and mm lift would you recommend for me? No fillers please.
A: Upper Lip Lift
Thanks for the question and for providing a helpful series of photos. I think you are a good candidate for an upper lip lift. In photo #4 you have a small amount of teeth visibility; this would be increased as a result of a lip lift and would get you closer to your desired look while smiling.
You do have somewhat of a “high arch” to the upper lip but because your nose is a bit wide the length of the skin excision would be wider as well, enabling more of a lateral lift than would otherwise be possible (thus reducing the risk of creating too much of an arch). A corner lip lift is another procedure that can lift the most lateral part of the upper lift
