How to Get Rid of Cellulite on the Buttocks

March 14, 2022

Have you tried at-home cellulite treatments with no success? Many people experience cellulite, although women have a greater risk than men. This difficult problem challenges providers to find an effective solution. The FDA has approved the cellulite treatment Qwo®, an innovative injectable treatment for getting rid of cellulite on the buttocks

What is Cellulite?

While many myths exist about why people get cellulite, the primary causes include thinning of the skin with age and the formation of fibrous bands under the skin. These bands are made of collagen, attaching the skin to the underlying muscle. This causes visible dimples in the places where the bands have adhered. Fat becomes squeezed between the bands, resulting in an uneven, lumpy appearance. Heredity plays a strong role in whether people develop cellulite and in which areas of the body.

How to Get Rid of Cellulite on the Buttocks

Most methods of cellulite treatment involve skin tightening to lessen the appearance of dimpling. Other methods diminish the amount of fat to reduce bulging. Only Qwo® can tackle the underlying causes of cellulite with a non-invasive treatment. This FDA-approved injectable treatment works for moderate to severe cellulite on women’s buttocks.

Qwo® uses enzymes called collagenases that break down the collagen fibrous bands. This releases the skin, which can now become smooth and even. Qwo® also helps redistribute the uneven areas of fat to give the area a more even, dimple-free appearance. These enzymes target only the types of collagen that form the fibrous bands. Qwo® stimulates the development of new, healthy collagen that makes the skin tighter and smoother.

Is There Any Downtime With Qwo®?

You can return to normal activities after Qwo®. Bruising is common and can last for several weeks. Some people also notice soreness, hard areas, and numbness in the treated area. These effects will fade within a week or two.

What Results Will I See from Cellulite Treatment with Qwo®?

You will see dimples and uneven fat distribution vanish from the treated area. Most people need three sessions spaced three weeks apart to see the best results. You can start to see improvements within about ten weeks, although results will continue to develop for several months after your last treatment.

Results from Qwo® have been demonstrated to last at least two years, although they can last much longer. Qwo® results will outlast most other methods of cellulite treatment, and the fibrous bands may not return at all.

Great experience and great results
