Versa at The Langdon Center in Guilford, CT
Restores Volume and Fullness in Nasolabial Folds and Lips
What Is Versa?
Dermal fillers are a great way to non-surgically enhance volume in the face, making you appear younger and more refreshed. Versa is an FDA-approved hyaluronic filler, similar to those from the Juvederm and Restylane families, whose purpose is to restore lost volume to the skin. Versa is approved for use in the nasolabial folds and the lips. When used in furrows such as nasolabial folds Versa will create a smoother, younger-looking complexion, particularly around the mouth and laugh lines. Versa is also approved to increase volume in the lips. Lip augmentation can be “fine tuned” with volume increase ranging from subtle to more extensive.
What Areas Does Versa Treat?
- The deeper lines (furrows) around your mouth (nasolabial folds)
- The lips
Versa is a new hyaluronic acid dermal filler proven to minimize folds and wrinkles in the nasolabial area and increase volume in the lips.
Versa, like other hyaluronic fillers, has been shown to last six to twelve months and is absorbed by the body over time. In clinical studies, Versa appeared to endure longer than Restylane and Juvederm.
Treatment normally takes about 30 minutes, although time may vary depending upon the areas being treated.
Results can be seen immediately.
Side effects may include slight bruising, redness or swelling.
Patients must be 22 years of age or older. Patients who have fine lines and wrinkles, thin lips, or lines around the mouth area can benefit from Versa. If you have deeper wrinkles, an excess amount of facial sagging, or hollow areas, you may benefit from a different facial filler.
Versa is sold by the syringe; the total number of syringes needed varies from person to person. On average a person needs between 1-2 syringes, depending on the treatment area. Please contact us for a more specific cost.
